Sif Baksh. 15+ years turning operational chaos into systems.
I'm a network automation and security engineer. My career has run across NetOps, SecOps, and sales engineering — fifteen years of being the person teams call when the runbook stops working and the on-call rotation is starting to wear people down.
I help teams turn that operational chaos into systems they can reason about. That usually means SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response) workflows in Tines, DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IP address management) work in Infoblox, Ansible modules nobody wants to maintain, and lately a lot of AI-assisted automation that actually survives contact with production.
I write here when I find something worth writing down — the version of the post I wish I'd had six months earlier. No thought leadership, no SaaS hot takes. Just the wiring diagrams, the auth patterns, and the parts the official docs leave out.
